Californian Rally Enthusiast Wins the Inaugural Subaru STI S209 Dream Giveaway!

GRAVETTE, Ark. - ArkaSun -- The Subaru STI S209 Dream Giveaway, a nationwide drawing sponsored by New Beginning Children's Homes, ended on February 23, 2021. Joel Belben, a California resident, is the grand-prize winner of an extremely rare limited-edition Subaru STI S209 sports sedan plus $18,000 towards the prize taxes!

Mr. Belben made a donation to enter the Subaru Dream Giveaway on June 17, 2020, and that has now become his lucky day because his donation ultimately landed him the winning ticket. "I felt really good about helping the charities involved," he said. "In fact that is why I entered in the first place. I definitely didn't think I'd win, but the charities seemed worthy of a donation."

On March 15, 2021, Mr. Belben received a telephone call giving him the exciting news. "When I got the call, my first thought was: How am I being scammed here?" he said. "Once I put it together that, yes, I entered this drawing, I knew it was ending soon, I have the winning ticket number and my name is up on the website, I couldn't believe I actually had won! It definitely took some time to sink in. I, like everyone else, never win anything so it really took some time for my brain to accept it. In the end, I'm really stoked on winning the car and happy that the drawing benefited worthy causes. The best part of winning was the combination of it being totally unexpected and the fact that the car is rare/unique."

For the people who have yet to enter a Dream Giveaway, Mr. Belben had this to say, "Just do it. You have nothing to lose by entering. You always support worthy causes with your money and you may even end up with a really cool car!"
