Car Fanatic From Wisconsin Wins the Indy Camaro Dream Giveaway!

GRAVETTE, Ark. - ArkaSun -- The Indy Camaro Dream Giveaway ended on March 16, 2023. For the first time in Dream Giveaway history, two grand-prize winners were chosen! One of those lucky grand-prize winners was Clayton Kruse from Wisconsin! Mr. Kruse is the grand-prize winner of an Indy 500 Camaro 2SS convertible and a trip for two to the 2023 Indianapolis 500. Also included in the grand-prize package was $14,000 towards the prize taxes.

Mr. Kruse's donation on May 27, 2022, landed him the winning ticket. "Knowing that my donation was going to help some great children's and veterans' charities is what enticed me to keep entering the giveaways for the past 13 years," he said. "Of course, the cars entice you, too. There is no doubt about that but I never really thought I win."

On March 30, 2023, he received the winner's telephone call giving him the exciting news but the real excitement was the award ceremony held at the Dream Giveaway Garage in Largo, Florida. "Getting to meet the Honor Flight of West Central Florida's 98-year-old World War II veteran and shake his hand was such a great experience. It was the experience of a lifetime. Taking pictures with the car, getting handed the keys and getting to meet everyone … I was so humbled by the whole thing."
