First accelerator program with a Spanish cohort; and first to accept Marshallese businesses in Arkansas

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - ArkaSun -- Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) Northwest Arkansas announced that seventeen early stage businesses have been selected to participate in the first two cohorts of their Winter Accelerator Program in Northwest Arkansas; and the first Spanish-speaking cohort in the state of Arkansas. These entrepreneurs were evaluated by more than 50 community leaders, industry experts, and entrepreneurs through a rigorous application review and interview process. The group is composed of companies that aim to get people in our community together; promote sustainable practices and creativity; and expand access to hard-to-find fashion accessories, translation services, and foreign cuisines. These businesses are a clear reflection of the personality of our region - diverse, youthful, inclusive, creative, and ambitious.

"These seventeen entrepreneurs each have something special and unique. In selecting this class, our volunteers looked at the clarity of their business idea, at their willingness to bring it to life, and at their coachability. I can't wait to see how we can help these entrepreneurs on their journey, and to welcome them to our EforAll family."

In addition, EforAll's Accelerator program is run simultaneously in English and Spanish to help as many individuals as possible in our community thanks to the support of the Walton Family Foundation.  As part of the 2022 winter cohort, entrepreneurs will have access to expert mentorship, tailored curriculum, co-working space, and opportunities to win seed money.
