Since its inception in 2021, the Panacea Financial Foundation has awarded grants and scholarships to more than 100 medical students and trainees
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - ArkaSun -- The Panacea Financial Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to expanding ethnic and racial diversity within the medical field, is honored to announce the six recipients selected for medical school scholarships in the spring 2024 application cycle.
The Panacea Financial Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, offers scholarships and grants to underrepresented minority medical students, residents, and fellows and has awarded more than $230,000 to 107 individuals since its founding in 2021.
Applications for Panacea Financial Foundation medical school scholarships were received from across the country and were blind-reviewed by the foundation's selection committee across five criteria. Recipients were chosen based on their demonstrated dedication to advancing healthcare and community well-being, with each scholarship awardee receiving $5,000 to support their education.
The recipients are:
