U.S. Coast Guard Veteran Wins the 2021 Hellcat Dream Giveaway!

GRAVETTE, Ark. - ArkaSun -- The Hellcat Dream Giveaway, a nationwide drawing sponsored by New Beginning Children's Homes, ended on March 30, 2021. Edwin Spooner, a New Hampshire resident, is the grand-prize winner of a 1000-hp 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody sedan and an Impact racing helmet autographed by NHRA legend "Big Daddy" Don Garlits and Top Fuel driver Leah Pruett, plus $20,000 towards the prize taxes!

Mr. Spooner entered the Hellcat Dream Giveaway on March 8, 2021, and his donation would end up landing him the winning ticket. "I had three family members pass away from life-threatening illnesses so anytime I am able to donate to charities, I'm more than happy to," he said. "All the charities are important but the ones I'm most interested in would be Bright Pink (since my sister passed from breast cancer), MADD, any veterans' charity and 4 Kids."

On April 14, 2021, Mr. Spooner received the congratulatory telephone call giving him the exciting news. "It was both unbelievable and amazing to win the 2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody," he said. "The best part of winning was actually seeing the car parked in my driveway. My coworkers couldn't believe I won the car so I had to park it in front of the building and do a show and tell. They all thought the car was awesome and congratulated me. Many of them have now made a donation to enter one of the giveaways. Thank you to Dream Giveaway for making this experience awesome and memorable."

Mr. Spooner is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and has worked for the United States Postal Service for the past 21 years. He spends his free time doing projects around the house, playing Texas Holdem, watching sports, and going to concerts when he can.
